Last week, I dropped Edward, my first Macbook. So sad.
But today, New Macbook Pro has been arrived.
I introduce Edward Jr., my new Macbook Pro, to you.
And there is a little customizing – a Solid-State-Drive instead of a Hard Drive.

Actually, SSD option gave me more than my expectation.

- Speed
Compare to my old Edward(Macbook 2.4GHz, 2GB DDR3 SDRAM, 250GB HDD), I feel triple fast its boot up and shut down, four times fast handling heavy application and files.

Okay, for example, it’s only taking 18 sec for OS X start up and 2 sec for Adobe photoshop CS4 start up. Only minus thing is it has small storage for its high price.

- Noise
There are no noise because he has no moving parts.

- Energy efficiency
Previous Macbook, I can use about 2 hours with its battery.
Now, according to official website, new model supports 7 hours use. I don’t believe it but I expect at least 4 hours of running time. (photoshop, dreamweaver, internet, documentation, music)
Instead, it lost changeable battery system.
