I have been in charged with several framework sized projects.
Through ERP(Enterprise Resource Management) to POS(Point Of Sales) System, in real world, knowing their inventories and accounting are most important thing for both checking business status and predict their further expense.
What is the POS?
POS refers to both a checkout counter in a shop, and the location where a transaction occurs. Colloquially, a “checkout” refers to a POS terminal or more generally to the hardware and software used for checkouts, the equivalent of an electronic cash register. A POS terminal manages the selling process by a salesperson accessible interface. The same system allows the creation and printing of the voucher.
What did I do?
One of my customer asked me that is there a good way to know his exact inventories and sales.
Of course there was! Here, If you running actual store and your product has countable goods, I absolutely recommend the POS system. POS is not simple to build up from scratch but luckily, I could find the best system for her from package. Many traditional accounting software companies(like Microsoft and QuickBooks) provide POS package. I could utilize the basic package of them, build up base work and added web integration interfaces.
What can we expect?
1. Fast and accurate inventory management
(Using Bar-code printer and reader. You will know inventory defect)
2. In-house Database (very secure)
3. Less cost in Multi-store management (centralized)
4. Less cost in website management (powerful interface)
Probably do not recommend in
1. Very small material product business – Hard to put product tag
2. Too little human resource but products come very often and a lot but never come again.
